The name Estero means "where the river meets the sea". Estero is a village located in southern Lee County nestled between Fort Myers and Naples. Estero was incorporated as a village in 2014. As of the 2020 census, the population was 36,939. The Village of Estero has grown into a delightful residential community with shopping, dining, and entertainment galore. It's home to large retail complexes including Coconut Point, Gulfcoast Town Center, and Miromar Outlets.
